Description
Sourdough can be used to make a variety of baked goods. Among other things, sourdough ensures better moisture retention and thus easier processing of the dough. It also ensures valuable minerals are retained and slows down the growth of mould. Bread made using sourdough is more digestible, tastes better and stays fresh much longer than bread without sourdough.
