Maria Holzer and Marek Makowski, the founders of Birkengold, were first introduced to xylitol by a friend. They quickly acquired a taste for it and learned of its many advantages. After noticing the high demand for this sugar alternative, Maria and Marek decided to make it easier for people to access xylitol products by founding Birkengold.
