Description

Savory is originally from the Mediterranean, but is cultivated worldwide, especially in the Balkans, Romania and Hungary. Savory has a very spicy flavor that tastes more intense in winter than in summer. In the kitchen Savory is mainly used for dishes such as lamb and stews. It harmonizes very well with basil, parsley, dill and tarragon, and is therefore also a popular soup spice.
