Weingut Krispel Weissburgunder VStmk. DAC 2021

This Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) from the Vulkanland region of Styria is enjoying increasing popularity. Since 2019, the varietal has been granted a protected designation of origin and is allowed to bear the DAC seal.

This regionally representative white wine from Krispel is a prime example of a classic Styrian Weissburgunder. Matured dry in a steel tank, it boasts a fine interplay of fruit and acidity. On the nose and palate, it's excitingly crisp with yellow pear and exotic fruit aromas. In the juicy finish, taste subtle bitter almonds.

Pairs well with asparagus, vegetarian dishes, cold starters or Styrian fried chicken. This representative varietal is fun to drink in the garden on a warm summer afternoon.
