Weinhof Josef Scharl

Based in the gentle rolling hills of the Vulkanland region of Styria, the Scharl family vineyard produces fine wines full of character. The vineyard spread over 20 hectares is planted with classic grape varietals such as chardonnay, muskateller and sauvignon blanc as well as fungus-resistant varieties (called PIWI, short for Pilzwiderstandsfähig in German) including muscaris, cabernet blanc and souvignier gris. As evidenced by several awards, their wines have made a name for themselves.
