These eco-friendly coffee-style cups are made from pressed bamboo fibres and rice husks. They are filled with a natural nutrient blend and the already mixed in plant seeds. This clever gift looks like a coffee cup - perfect for your next coffee break!

Botanical name: Bauhinia variegata candida. The orchid tree is native to Southeast Asia. It gets its name from the orchid-like flowers it grows.

Planting Instructions:

• Open the cover by twisting it.
• Remove the seeds from the bag and leave them in lukewarm water for 24 hours.
• Then press the seeds about 1cm deep into the granules.
• Carefully pour about 60ml of water into the cup.
• Place the cup in a bright, warm place.
• Water regularly (approx. 40ml of water every 3 days).
• Make sure that the granules do not dry out completely (avoid waterlogging).
• After about 2-4 weeks the plant will start to grow. Continue to water only moderately.
• After about 6 months, the orchid tree can be transplanted into a pot.
• Flowers about 4-6 years after germination.
