Description
Black salsify is a delicious alternative to asparagus and has an intense, nutty taste. Once peeled, salsify root is brilliant white in colour and is a delicious cool season vegetable.
Tip: A milky juice is released while peeling which can leave unsightly stains on hands and clothes. It is therefore advisable to wear gloves and an apron.
The organic seeds are of the highest quality and are regionally sourced. They are packed in eco-friendly grass paper as sustainability is a top priority at Samen Maier.
