Description
Glockenbimmler by Stay Spiced! is a mulled wine spice mix for preparing traditional mulled wine. The coarsely ground spices include cinnamon, orange & lemon peel, cloves, aniseed, juniper berries, fennel, star anise and vanilla and create the unmistakable aroma of mulled wine in your cup.
Recommended preparation:
- Heat 1 litre of red wine with sugar, honey or rock candy (50 - 100 g depending on your taste) and 1 tablespoon of mulled wine spice. Do not allow the wine to come to a boil.
- Strain, garnish with a slice of lemon or orange and serve warm.
Tips on using:
- You can also add a splash of amaretto or rum to flavour your mulled wine.
- Add the spice mix to water and heat it to make a fragrant infusion. Use this infusion to season a variety of desserts or dishes with game meat.
