Description

Delicious keto waffles - a tasty treat for those who follow a keto diet or wish to reduce their carb consumption. The baking mix is quick and easy to prepare. The waffles are rich in fibre and protein and are enriched with essential B vitamins.

Preparation:

  • Preheat your waffle iron as per the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Transfer the contents of the nakling mix to a large bowl or a Thermomix mixing bowl.
  • Melt 45 g coconut oil in a saucepan or in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Add to the baking mix along with 350 ml of water (water line in the can) and mix well with a whisk, food processor or the Thermomix (level 5, 30 seconds).
  • Let the dough rest for about 5 minutes.
  • Grease the waffle iron and pour a ladleful of the batter on the hot waffle iron. Bake for about 4-5 minutes, depending on how crispy you want it.
  • Garnish the waffles as desired with berries and/or whipped cream and serve.
