Bake Affair Organic Pancakes, 392 g

Small, round, fluffy, golden brown pancakes - and ready in a few minutes! With this convenient baking mix with only the best organic ingredients, making this American breakfast classic is a snap!

For authentic American pancakes you need:

Classic variant:

• 1 can organic pancakes baking mix
• 2 eggs
• 320 ml milk or 400 ml buttermilk

Vegan variant:

• 1 can organic pancakes baking mix
• 320 ml of plant-based milk (oat milk, almond milk etc)
• 1 tbsp neutral vegetable oil or coconut fat

Optional: toppings such as maple syrup, honey, berries, chocolate chips...

Resting time for the batter: 5 min

This is how you can make 17 delicious pancakes:

1. Open the seal of the can and pour the baking mix into a bowl (or into your Thermomix).
2. Fill up the can up to the lines marked on the inside with the desired liquid - milk or plant-based milk (320 ml) or buttermilk (400 ml). Carefully pour it over the baking mix. Depending on whether you want to prepare the classic or the vegan variant, you now add the two eggs or a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the batter. Mix with a whisk, hand mixer or food processor. If you are using the Thermomix, 10 seconds is sufficient at level 5.
3. Let the batter rest for about 5 minutes.
4. Heat some butter or vegetable oil over medium heat in a shallow pan.
5. To make evenly sized pancakes, it's best to use a ladle or an ice cream scoop. If you are using a tablespoon we recommend 2 tablespoons of batter per pancake.
6. Cook the pancakes over medium heat for about 1 minute on each side. Once bubbles form on the surface, you can flip the pancakes.
7. Enjoy them as is or with a topping of your choice.
