Description

Enjoy perfect results and delicious, beautiful cheesecakes or yoghurt cream cakes with this cream powder from Dr. Oetker. No heating or cooking required.

Recommended method for cheese cream:

  1. Take 375 ml cold milk in a bowl. Add the cream powder and whip with a handheld mixer at the highest setting for about 3 minutes.
  2. Fold in 500 g of fresh cheese (aka Topfen or Quark in German) in 4 portions.

Recommended method for yoghurt cream:

  1. Take 250 ml cold milk into a bowl. Add the cream powder and whip with a handheld mixer at the highest setting for about 3 minutes.
  2. Add 500 g of yoghurt and fold in gently until smooth, about 1 minute.

Tips:

  • Spread the prepared cream on a cake base and chill for about 2 hours. Then use a thin knife to ease the cake away from the edge of the pan.
  • For a sweeter taste, add 1 level tablespoon of powdered sugar to the cream.
  • The cream tastes particularly delicious in combination with fresh fruit.
  • For the yogurt cream, you can use either plain yoghurt or a fruit yoghurt of your choice.
