Starhorse Derma-Med, 600 g

In the last few years, horses have had more and more problems with their skin or coat. The skin has to cope not only with the constantly increasing environmental pollution and aggressive solar radiation, but also with the increased excretion of harmful substances (heavy metals, etc.). The first signs of overloading this important organ are problems with changing fur, dandruff, itching and dull fur. This can lead to allergic skin diseases, fungi, eczema and loss of fur.

STARHORSE® Derma-Med has a balanced composition of vitamins and minerals. But above all, thanks to the microalgae powder Spirulina-T, which is added in the correct ratio, STARHORSE® Derma-Med can optimally develop its effect through a synergy effect.

Quality notice:
Like all Starhorse® products, STARHORSE® Derma-Med is also manufactured in pure food quality. Due to this highest quality level, STARHORSE® Derma-Med can be fed in very small doses, which results in a very long fertility period. (see feeding information with fertility period). The microalgae powder Spirulina-T used comes from strictly controlled cultivation in mineral-rich water without any pesticides or insecticides.

Unlike conventional algae powder, Spirulina-T does not remove the water by means of heat (quick dryer), but rather gently dries it at a low temperature over a long period. This gentle process when drying the plant preserves all of the important and valuable nutrients.

Feeding recommendation* (horse with approx. 600 kg bodyweight):

• Preventive (3x a week): 20g
• Horses changing coat (1x daily): 20g
• Horses with acute problems (1x daily): 30g
• Small horses and foals 50% of the above amount

20g corresponds approximately to the amount of a level measuring spoon. The measuring spoon is included with the product. STARHORSE® Derma-Med is added to conventional concentrated feed

Tip: If you start feeding STARHORSE® Derma-Med 2 months before the coat change, this can have a positive effect on the coat change.
