Description
A fine bread mix containing rye, whole grain spelt and wheat flour - for delicious, aromatic and fresh homemade bread free from artificial additives. Best of all, the instructions to prepare are simple and easy to follow.
In addition to the baking mix, you will need the following fresh ingredients:
9 g dry yeast or ½ cube of fresh yeast, approx. 430 g lukewarm water,
1 tbsp sunflower oil
Method:
- Stir the yeast and sunflower oil into 430 ml lukewarm water in a large bowl
- Add the baking mix and knead briefly
- Food processor kneading time: 7 - 10 min.
- Place the dough on a floured work surface, cover and leave to rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf tin or line it with baking paper first
- Cover the dough and let it rise again for about 30 minutes
- Preheat the oven (convection, 230 °C)
- After the rising time, place the dough in the loaf tin in the oven
- Immediately sprinkle the hot oven floor with water to generate steam
- Bake for about 10 minutes at 230 °C. Then reduce the temperature to 180°/185 °C and bake for a further 40 - 45 minutes
- If using a loaf tin lined with baking paper, take the loaf out of the tin 10 - 15 minutes before the end. Bake for the remainder of the time without the tin
- If the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom, it's done
- Cool completely on a wire rack and enjoy!
One pack of the baking mix makes about 1 kg fresh bread.
